Agile Standard is a highly optimized version of a full-scale Hospital Information Management Systems (HIMS) and has been built after studying hundreds of small and mid-sized hospitals. Less than 50-bed hospitals have a mix of partially digitized and fully manual processes which creates inefficiencies and redundancies while managing day-to-day activities. The Appointments module not only aids in streamlined scheduling of medical appointments for registered and unregistered patients but is also an efficient way for doctors and front-office staff to check time slots, and update or schedule appointments seamlessly. Input data would include – patient’s name, type of visit, date, time, department and doctor’s name. All appointments can be booked or cancelled either over the phone or in person.
The Front Office is the nerve center of the hospital and should operate efficiently at all times to ensure the smooth running of the departments. The Agile Standard Front Office Management module takes care of incoming patient activities like Patient Registration, Patient Search, Consultants Enquiry, Tariff Enquiry, etc, as well as In-patient Enquiry and Billing. These modules offer built in customizability of the software so that it adheres to local or statutory regulations.
The Outpatient management module takes care of OP registration, Visitor’s entry details, diagnostic data and pharmacy management. Usually in hospitals, the Front office Management takes care of Patient registration and doctor fees payment. In a hospital set up, OP billing should be versatile and so our module also includes Investigation Service Billing and Pharmacy Billing. If the OP billing is debit billing, payment has to be made at every stage and the software facilitates this need.
Carrying out number of tests and making the results available promptly is very crucial for assessing the patient's medical status and deciding on the further course of action. The investigation requisition can be auto-generated (through OPD billing or IPD) or can also be generated here, depending on the system followed in the hospital. The tests parameters are pre-defined with the interpretations & formulae wherever applicable. The test results are entered into the software manually or with equipment integration and a descriptive smart report is printed after verification and validation.
In the routine functioning of a hospital, various types of Inpatient services are meant to provide high standards of care to patients who are in the most acute and vulnerable stages of their illness. Inpatient admissions are considered, when given in a safe and therapeutic setting, would play a necessary and purposeful part in a patient’s progress to recovery. The Inpatient module commences when the patient is being registered and allotted a bed in the ward. It deals with the complete treatment and services provided to the patient during his stay in the hospital.
MIS provides detailed reports that include Collection Reports or the Daily Collection Summary. This would be broken up into user-wise split reports and consolidated department report. It would also generate Revenue Reports that can be Group wise, Department wise, OP Revenue bill-wise and the OP Concession Detail Report, depending on what the report is for. Lastly, we have the Top Management KPI reports which provides Service Breakup Report and Doctor-wise Investigation Report.
